AMADEUS represented at the Quantum Effects 2025 conference

Quantum Effects 2025

At this year’s Quantum Effects exhibition in Stuttgart, Fraunhofer IAF presented the EU project AMADEUS, which aims to advance quantum sensing technologies based on nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. Together with the AMADEUS project partner Thales Research & Technology( TRT), IAF showcased recent progress in developing high-performance NV-based sensing platforms.

While Fraunhofer IAF highlighted advancements in diamond material engineering and sensor integration, TRT presented their latest NV sensing demonstrators, illustrating the project’s progress toward real-world applications in precision magnetometry and industrial sensing. The joint presence underlined the strong European collaboration driving the development of scalable quantum sensing technologies within AMADEUS.
