33rd International Conference on Diamond and Carbon Materials

From September 10 – 14 2023, members of the AMADEUS consortium presented their latest results on diamond growth and quantum sensing at the 33rd International Conference on
Diamond and Carbon Materials in Palma, Spain.

In overall 6 oral and 1 poster presentation from Fraunhofer IAF and Diatope, the consortium shared the ongoing research progress. The main focus was on diamond material regarding the growth of thin layers with enriched C12 and/or C13 concentration as well as on the
creation of NV centers in diamond via PECVD.

Growth development on different diamond substrates orientations, such as <110> and <111>, were discussed within the scope of the conference, presented by IAF as well as Diatope.

Furthermore, applications in widefield sensing, bringing NV centers in diamond to the
industrial application, were promoted via the imaging of electric fields in microelectronic circuits.

Throughout the conference, fruitful discussions encouraged the collaboration with the scientific community as well as brought the AMADEUS project in the center of the international diamond community.
